Paid Social Specialist

Blue Corona is a technology-enabled digital marketing company that helps residential service businesses increase leads and sales. For each client, Blue Corona implements inbound internet marketing strategies such as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), website design and development, and marketing analytics services to measurably increase marketing performance.

As a Paid Social Specialist, you'll be managing paid social campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor for our clients. This role combines the creative side of writing social media content that engages users with the analytical side of optimizing our campaigns to maximize our clients’ return on investment. Our clients require high-quality and engaging content, so your skills must extend far beyond the ability to just share a link on Facebook. You must be willing to learn about various industries and treat each client’s business as if it were your own!

Responsibilities 

  • Create content for our ads with high standards for originality, creativity, engagement, and overall quality
  • Independently write, edit, and proof all paid social copy for accuracy, clarity, and grammar
  • Report on paid social engagement, performance, and other KPIs monthly for clients
  • Iteratively test campaign settings, location targeting, audiences, objectives, bid strategy, and budget distribution in order to drive performance
  • Stay well-versed and knowledgeable about social media best practices and trends, especially Facebook, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor
  • Ensure all campaigns have appropriate link tracking to drive paid social attribution

Experience 

  • 4-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
  • 2+ years paid social management experience
  • Excellent writing skills and a high attention to detail 
  • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side and
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager and levers available to drive performance
  • Ability to work under deadlines for multiple clients at once
  • Ability to learn new client industries and create accurate and conversion-centric copy for those different target audiences
  • Business acumen and drive (you never lose sight of your overall goal—growing our clients’ businesses)
  • Familiarity with Facebook Lead Generation Campaigns
  • Experience with LinkedIn Advertising and Nextdoor Ads
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and integrations like Zapier
