Digital Product Manager

As a Product Manager (Marketing Technology), you will be responsible for managing the growth and development of Blue Corona’s marketing technology stack and data warehouse. We set our clients’ expectations that proper measurement is the foundation of effective marketing strategies; your role is to help evolve the internal- and external-facing platform(s) that power those analyses. 

You will work with Blue Corona’s marketing technology stack in a variety of ways, ranging from setting standards for data collection technologies to ETL pipeline management to deployment of front-end tools for the team and clients to effectively leverage data from our data warehouse.

Blue Corona is a rapidly growing company, and the technology needs are constantly evolving along with it – so we’re looking for a candidate who enjoys a fast-paced environment and working on many different projects with different teams concurrently. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and a hands-on problem solver who can bring product management experience to help drive technology solutions that meet digital analytics needs.

Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap / Vision:
    • Define, lead and execute the martech product roadmap.
    • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements.
    • Define a product vision and get buy-in on that vision from key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Initiate, spec, and manage feature development aimed at data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Delivery / Execution:
    • Manage the execution of initiatives from idea through launch.
    • Manage and lead teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
    • Coordinate with service delivery, customer success, and development/engineering teams to find the right technological solutions to power new features and prioritize the product roadmap accordingly.
    • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Subject Matter Expert / Professional Services:
    • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
    • Stay current with Blue Corona’s marketing technology stack, as well as industry trends in the digital analytics space.
    • Facilitate the creation, configuration, and delivery of complex reports using multiple data sources.
  • Communication / Documentation:
    • Manage create, review, and approve of product, feature, and process documentation.
    • Assist the sales team by providing product briefings and technical expertise in the selling process.
    • Represent Blue Corona in communication with clients to understand platform customization needs, scope and develop effective and scalable solutions, and demonstrate technical expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics preferred).
  • 2 to 5 years of Technical Product Management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing measurement techniques, technology, and terminology.
  • Technical understanding of web-based applications.
  • Knowledge of data management, business intelligence methodologies, and OLAP tools.
  • Experience reading / writing coding languages (SQL, Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML).
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to research, learn, and adopt new techniques and procedures for projects as they arise.
