SEO Copywriter

Blue Corona is looking for an experienced SEO Copywriter to join our marketing team. As an SEO Copywriter, you will:

  • Build and maintain brand messaging standards across Blue Corona’s website and owned digital properties.
  • Optimize existing web content to increase Blue Corona’s organic search presence.
  • Publish new website content (landing pages, blog posts, case studies, infographics, etc.) on BlueCorona.com.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders within the organization to establish and maintain service and product messaging standards.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in SEO (search engine optimization) and SEO-friendly copywriting, and has experience creating, managing, and executing a cross-channel editorial calendar.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain brand messaging standards across Blue Corona’s website and owned digital properties.
  • Optimize existing web content to increase Blue Corona’s organic search presence.
  • Publish new website content (landing pages, blog posts, case studies, infographics, etc.) on BlueCorona.com.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders within the organization to establish and maintain service and product messaging standards.
  • Develop, manage, and execute a cross-channel content editorial calendar aligned with Blue Corona’s business goals.
  • Build a network of bloggers and media outlets to promote Blue Corona content and assets. 
  • Use digital research tools to identify search trends and create content that optimizes Blue Corona’s organic search results.
  • Collaborate with team members to generate new content ideas that demonstrate the company’s marketing and brand image.
  • Update existing sales and marketing assets as requested. 
  • Assist in ABM campaigns as requested. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, English, Writing, or Communications. Other backgrounds will be considered based on experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the digital marketing industry, either in-house or in an agency setting.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing and executing a cross-channel editorial calendar, from conception to publication and promotion.
  • The ability to think holistically, seeing the ‘big picture’ without neglecting the finer details.
  • The ability to write persuasive copy.
  • A+ copywriting and self-editing skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Copywriting experience in an agency setting is preferred.
  • Google Analytics certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Pardot, and SalesLoft are preferred but not required.
  • SEO experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
