Sales Development Representative

Blue Corona is seeking digital marketing inside sales representatives to join our team! The primary role of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to generate new sales opportunities through outbound lead generation in their assigned territory. The SDR will identify business opportunities to achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The primary responsibility will be to establish the initial points of contact with prospective customers before converting them to actual Blue Corona clients.

The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a challenging, fun work environment. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll have the chance to help us increase our market share and expand our existing client base.


  • Generating high quality sales leads for the business in the form of outbound calls
  • Setting appointments for our sales team to meet with potential clients
  • Assist the senior sales team to achieve new business quotas
  • Identifying potential opportunities for new business within other parts of the company
  • Serve as the first point of contact and provide product information to prospective clients
  • Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients in order to build relationships to help provide repeat business and to meet excellent customer service requirements
  • Assist with marketing campaign strategy and execution
  • Attend industry events to meet with prospective customers
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred; or equivalent work experience in digital marketing related business
  • Ability to prospect new business by cold calling and other prospecting techniques including social media where applicable
  • Ability to close new business and exceed sales targets
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual with initiative and drive to succeed
  • Knowledge of competitive digital marketing landscape; used for new business development and sales analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver effective presentations
  • Strong networking and community involvement skills
  • Eagerness to learn, continually seeking to improve sales skills
  • Computer and software experience with MS Office programs

This position is located in our Gaithersburg, MD office. All applicants must live in the area or be willing to relocate.
